What is the difference between Japanese lume and Swiss Super-LumiNova?
Japanese powder is cream/pale yellow by day and yellow-green in the dark. Super-LumiNova is brighter with longer afterglow: mint by day, saturated green in the dark. Both can be sampled.
Can dial diameter be customized?
Yes. Dial diameter follows the case opening and movement; send dimensions or a sample. We then assess tooling, sampling and lead time.
Do applied indexes always need new tooling?
Existing shapes may be reused. New shapes, windows or special indexes usually need tooling. Send a drawing and we will quote moulds and sampling.
316L versus 304 for watch cases?
304 is a general, lower-cost stainless. 316L resists corrosion better and is common on mid-to-high-end steel cases. Backs can use either grade.
Sapphire versus mineral crystal?
Mineral is lower cost with a slight tint; tempered glass is more shock resistant; sapphire is harder and clearer and can take AR coating. Flat, single-convex or double-convex.
How is enamel dial OEM done?
Enamel dials are blanked, nickel-plated, fired with clear enamel, polished, then printed or set with indexes. Dial-only orders are welcome.
